If you ever find yourself in New York looking for coffee and vibes, then you should be making your way over to Milk and Pull. With locations in Bed-Stuy and Ridgewood, Queens, they serve up freshly roasted coffee and an assortment of pastries and sandwiches. Owners (and couple), Angela and Joe founded Milk and Pull over 10 years ago in June 2013, on a hope and a dream. Throughout that time they have managed to open new locations, survive the covid pandemic, and have most recently moved their Bed-Stuy location to a new space in the last year or so. Finding a Lost Treasure in Philadelphia

A few months ago, I was in a trip planning frenzy. I was putting together itineraries for New York, Austin, Cartagena and finally Philly. Somewhere along the way I’d come across a couple who used to be restaurant chefs but had recently opened a cafe and shop of their own.  I lost track of their place somewhere along the way and when I went to search for it again, I just couldn’t find them. I searched all over Brooklyn in Google, my trip notes, and Eater. Nothing.  Fast forward to my time in Philly. I was having dinner at Friday Saturday Sunday.
